Wet Plate Collodion Workshops
AS OF APRIL, 2020, ALL WORKSHOPS ARE CANCELLED DUE TO COVID-19. WE HOPE TO OFFER THEM AGAIN IN THE SPRING OF 2021 AT OUR NEW PLACE IN THE COLORADO ROCKY MOUNTAINS.

1. PRIVATE WORKSHOPS: This is for individuals that want to have the full experience of the process or that want to concentrate on a specific area in the process. $1200 for two days; lunch is included as well as everything you need to work in the process - you do not need to bring anything. Workshops are held in my home studio in east Aurora, Colorado (15 minutes from the Denver International Airport).
2. GROUP WORKSHOPS: This is for TWO people (couples, friends, co-workers, etc.) that want to share the experience of learning the process together. However, you DO NOT have to know one another. Sometimes, I'll put two people together that want to take workshop at the same time. $900 for two days; lunch is included as well as everythign you need to work in the process - you do not need to bring anything. Workshops are held in my home studio in east Aurora, Colorado (15 minutes from the Denver International Airport).

A very special course in the wet plate collodion process; making positives, Ambrotypes and Tintypes with an ultra large format camera, 20" x 20". Students will learn how to handle, mix, and store chemistry for ULF plates as well as learn techniques for the best results. Each student will make one 16x20 Ambrotype, two 16x20 Tintypes, and one negative to take home.
